Skills Trainings

There are many different components to the game of basketball. Ball Handling & Dribbling, Footwork, Passing & Receiving, Shooting, Rebounding, Screening, Team Defensive Concepts & Team Offensive Concepts. In our skills training we focus on developing the basic skills and fundamentals of basketball. We use a structured progressive system to advance each fundamental skill and build team concepts. Each player in a group will possess their strengths and weaknesses, and rarely will all players be on the same level in all categories. Based on the level of basketball (recreational programs, travel teams, AAU) and each player’s skill set, we will determine how we will coach and manage the group throughout the season.
